About

Get to Know Dr. Reece
I’m a clinical psychologist specializing in health psychology, with a particular focus on supporting adolescents and young adults living with chronic pain and other medical conditions. I also work with individuals navigating a range of emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, life transitions, academic or work-related stress, and more.
Whether you’re adjusting to a new health concern, feeling overwhelmed by daily stressors, or simply trying to regain your footing, I’m here to help. I strive to create a therapeutic space that is safe, compassionate, and collaborative. My approach is grounded in evidence-based practices, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). My goal is to provide mental health care for adolescents and young adults that fosters resilience and self-awareness, helping you navigate challenges in a meaningful way.
Prior to starting my private practice, I was an attending pediatric psychologist at Boston Children’s Hospital and a faculty member at Harvard Medical School. There, I completed my postdoctoral fellowship and played a key role in developing and implementing the Young Adult Pain Rehabilitation Center (YAPRC) which was the first and only intensive interdisciplinary program in the U.S. at the time specifically designed to address chronic pain in young adults.
I completed my predoctoral internship at the University of Rochester Medical Center and earned my doctorate in clinical psychology from William James College, with a concentration in health psychology. My clinical experience spans outpatient mental health clinics, inpatient hospital settings, and schools, allowing me to work effectively across diverse systems of care.
